Diabetes Complications Research Center

ILD Research Center is a private and independent research only center in Southern California, located in San Diego. Established in 2005, the center was founded to bring the most advanced, state-of-the-art treatments for patients suffering with complications related to Diabetes. From our beginning, our main focus has been, and still is, to provide advanced therapies for non-healing diabetic and non-diabetic wounds of the feet and lower extremity. Over the years ILD has expanded our Diabetes focus to include all aspects of Diabetes related complications research (wound care, neuropathy, eye disease, kidney disease)

The principal investigator and founder of ILD Research Center has been in the Diabetic wound care industry for over 25 years, and is considered an expert and a thought leader in the field. He has conducted over 100 wound care clinical trials, co-authored numerous publications, and has lectured around the country. As a wound care adviser to HealthTrust GPO, his focus and goal is to provide the most up-to-date data of available wound care products, addressing their efficacy, cost, and safety. Most of the products that are currently on the market have been vetted and tested at the ILD Research Center.
